Classes 8
Term Chicago Term 1 2014

Description
This class is closed to further registration.

After studying story structure and how to pitch ideas, students develop a spec script for an existing sitcom. Spec scripts are the industry standard writing samples for those wanting to work in sitcoms. Class time will be divided between workshopping pages and structural analysis of existing shows. Class time will also be spent working collaboratively to pitch storylines and develop an outline for an existing show. One class will be dedicated to the business of television.
