Description
This class is closed to further registration.

Now that students have a firm grasp on creating for the web, it's time to take a shot at being published. Humor Writing for the Internet 2 delves deeper into representing your work and getting others interested in it. Students will also learn about the logistics of producing a web series (assembling a crew, setting goals, and getting people to care about it), how to build an effective bio and portfolio site, and how to finesse their approach to a comedic Twitter account. The final week, students are put in the hot seat by pitching an original piece workshopped in the class to a real-world outlet of their choosing via email. It's like a reality show, minus the camera!
