This class has been cancelled.
Students in clowning and physical comedy will learn to connect with an audience using their breath, eye contact, and vulnerability. They will explore and play a variety of character masks with emotional and physical exaggeration. Students will experience the freedom and fun of the smallest mask in the world, the clown?s red nose, while developing their inner clown persona and safely learn slapstick comedy (slips, trips, and falls) and devising solo and group performances like that in the styles of the great Charlie Chaplin, Lucille Ball, and Mr. Bean.
Parents are invited into the classroom to view a brief demonstration of activities on the final day of class.
Youth program classes will not meet November 27-December 1.
