During the workshop students will learn how to develop characters using the art of long-form improvisation and apply their new characters using puppetry.
The class is broken down into two separate parts:
Part 1 will focus on teaching students proper stage puppetry techniques and how to perform their puppet in front of a live audience using the famous Henson Muppet style of manipulation.
Part 2 will focus on character development and combining human/puppet interaction in long-form improv scene work.
Students participating in this class must have an understanding of long-form
improvisation. No puppet knowledge is needed. The students will receive one FREE fully assembled The Josh and Tamra Show Sock Puppet.
